being received by the council at the close of business on Wednesday 29th April and as such our clerk was at the Norwich to Tilbury Pylons Planning Inspectorate consultation in Ipswich and as such has only just returned home and the following details of the Development order are below for all parishioners to find all the information they require and this will be on the parish noticeboard as well

Wacton Parish Council have submitted their detailed objections letter to SNDC regarding planning application 2025/1689. Please click on this LINK to read the detailed document
Wacton Parish Council have now submitted their opposition to Planning regarding the scheme and this can be viewed on the planning portal.
Please see this attached LINK for Norfolk County Councils Official Response to the BESS planning application. Due to this it will cost Field a lot of monies to continue with this and we will keep our eyes open for any further communication on this application and will post on here and the noticeboards
Highways have replied in response to the issues they have found and also regarding the news that a holding objection has been lodged against the planning application.

EIA impact assessment letter sent to Planning at SNDC
New Parish email address in place
Please note that the Parish Council have a new gov.uk email system now in place. This was a requirement of the External Auditor at the year end report in 2022-2023 and we have now got this all sorted so it that means we are less susceptible to scams and makes us look more professional.
